Coaching for IV policyholders

In specially designed coaching sessions, we work with the IV-insured person to develop a strategy for finding a customised job or internship. Our coaches are sensitised to the special starting position of our clients. The high percentage of internships placed each year confirms the quality of our service.

Job application coaching

Participants
IV-insured persons who are looking for a job.

Prerequisites

  • Performance in relation to the primary labour market has been clarified.
  • IV insured persons have a minimum knowledge of German (coaching in E, F and I also possible on request).
  • They are motivated.

Goals
In application coaching, the IV insured persons develop a convincing appearance for the labour market and for starting a job. They have developed an application strategy, prepared application documents and practised for job interviews.

Job Coaching

Participants
IV-insured persons who have an employment relationship.

Prerequisites

  • IV insured persons have an employment relationship.
  • You have a minimum knowledge of German (coaching in E, F and I also possible on request).
  • They are motivated.

Goals
IV-insured persons can keep their job; it may need to be adjusted slightly. IV-insured persons and employers are supported by Contiva as required. The need for assistance is clarified.

Individual coaching

Participants
IV-insured persons who need individualised coaching due to their special situation.

Prerequisites

  • The individual coaching needs are clarified.
  • IV insured persons have a minimum knowledge of German (coaching in E, F and I also possible on request).
  • They are motivated.

Goals
Contiva works with IV policyholders to develop solutions for their particular individual difficulties - such as unresolved complex health problems, problematic attitudes or behaviours, family problems.

Individual coaching with active job search

Participants
IV-insured persons who need individualised coaching in their job search.

Prerequisites

  • Performance in the primary labour market has been clarified or still needs to be clarified.
  • IV insured persons have a minimum knowledge of German (coaching in E, F and I also possible on request).
  • They are motivated.

Goals
The IV-insured persons find the following suitable job in the primary labour market:

  • a position with clarified performance,
  • an internship if performance needs to be clarified.

Coaching actively places people (only) if this increases their chances of finding the job they are looking for. This is almost always necessary when looking for internships, but only exceptionally helpful when looking for a job.
